Calculated separated local field spectra of 1H-15N dipolar coupling vs. 15N chemical shift for an ideal helix. The periodic spectral patterns are sensitive to the tilt and rotation angles of the secondary structures with respect to the magnetic field. These patterns have been termed PISA wheels (9,7).
