Analysis of the accumulation of the Pvlea-18 transcript and protein during embryogenesis. a, Pvlea-18 transcript accumulation as determined by northern analysis of RNA extracts obtained from bean embryos at different days postanthesis (dpa): lane 1, 5 dpa; lane 2, 15 dpa; lane 3, 20 dpa; lane 4, 22 dpa; lane 5, 24 dpa; and lane 6, 26 dpa. Five micrograms of total RNA was electrophoresed, blotted on nylon membranes, and hybridized against the indicated probes.
