Effect of a dark incubation period on PTV. Cultures of L. rostrata (left) and L. rostrata + M. loti (right) were cryopreserved in 5 or 10% MeOH, and then either placed directly in the light after the removal from liquid N2, or incubated in the dark for 24 h after thawing before illumination.
