Differential expression of wheat chloroplastic Cu/ZnSOD (a) and mitochondrial MnSOD (b) genes during drought stress. Total RNA from spring wheat cv Katepwa and winter wheat cv Norstar after 0, 2, 4, or 6 d of dehydration and 1 or 3 d of rehydration was electrophoresed and transferred to a nylon membrane. The same blot was sequentially hybridized with Cu/ZnSOD 1.1 and MnSOD 3.1 and was washed under high-stringency conditions. EtBr (c) and W.P.
