During Phase 1 (d 23 to 37), piglets were fed the standard postweaning diet (ME, 15.49 MJ/kg; CP, 21.7%; Lys, 1.68%; Ca, 1.06%; P, 0.84%) provided by Anyou Group (Jiangsu, China). Phase 2, 3, and 4 diets were formulated and fed from 38 to 73, 74 to 120, and 121 to 200 d of age, respectively.
Premix supplied (per kilogram of diet): 8,800 IU vitamin A; 1,600 IU vitamin D; 40 mg vitamin E; 0.4 mg vitamin B1; 3.6 mg vitamin B2; 1 mg vitamin B6; 16 mg niacin; 11 mg pantothenic acid; 180 mg choline chloride; 96 mg Cu as CuSO4; 88 mg Fe as FeSO4; 76 mg Zn as ZnSO4; 24 mg Mn as MnSO4; 0.4 mg Co as CoCl2; 0.4 mg I as CaIO3.
