Suppressive soils are defined as the soils where plant 33P uptake was <1 kBq per pot. The analysis was made on Bray–Curtis dissimilarities between OTUs with 97% similarity. Relative abundances (b) of genus- or higher-level taxa that contribute to most of the variation between the bacterial communities in AMF-suppressive and non-suppressive soils identified by SIMPER analysis and are present in significantly different abundances in suppressive and conducive soils (Expt. 2).
