Uptake and elimination kinetics of mCPP in zebrafish larvae. Larvae (16 per treatment) at 5 dpf were exposed to 5 μM mCPP for 8 h and thereafter placed in clean medium for up to 48 h. A set of untreated larvae served as control. At different time points during the uptake and elimination phase, mCPP concentrations in the whole-body homogenates were measured by LC-MS/MS. Filled circles show data from two independent experimental replicates focusing on uptake kinetics; open circles show data from two additional independent experimental replicates focusing on both uptake and elimination kinetics.
