Different grades of retinal dysplasia found in C57BL/6N mice with the rd8 mutation. The degree of retinal dysplasia can be graded from mild (A, A'), moderate (B, B'), to severe (C, C') dysplasia. Histologically, retinal folds and/or rosettes are noted in areas of lesions (D), but are not seen in unaffected areas (D'). Images in (A–C) are TEFI images, while (A'–C') are en face OCT images.
