Non-metric multidimensional scaling of all primate samples based on the Bray-Curtis distance matrix. The plot shows the two main dimensions of variation, with plotted characters color coded according to sample type. Clustering according to samples type was highly significant, explaining 43% of between-sample variation (p < 0.001, PERMANOVA). The model stress value was 10.7.
