The evolution of proinflammatory cytokines 48 and 72 hrs after treating IgE-induced RBL-2H3 cells with 10, 50, or 100 μg/mL ST shows that the inflammatory cytokines released by RBL-2H3 cells tend to decrease with increasing doses of ST, especially IFN-γ and TNF-α. ∗p < 0.05 when compared with controls after 48 hrs of ST treatment; $p < 0.05 when compared with controls after 72 hrs of ST treatment; and #p < 0.05 when comparing data between 48 and 72 hrs of treatment.
