Mouse pre-osteoblasts (MC3T3-E1) were seeded on (A) solid scaffolds (PPP, PEEK), (B) porous scaffolds (pPPP, pPEEK). The metabolic activity was measured at days 1, 3 and 5 to assess cell proliferation. MC3T3 cells showed significantly increased proliferation after seeding. There were no differences in growth in between PPP and PEEK. *p<0.05; n=2–4; data presented as mean ± S.E.M.
