Results of binomial test indicate that variation partitioning is more efficient in rejecting the null hypothesis (p-value is smaller) than the univariate SBIs in detecting temperature effects (Probability of success = 0.63, P = 0.003) and marginally in fishing effects (Probability of success = 0.56, P = 0.10).
