Inclusion and exclusion criteria for the study are based on the data of the employee survey

Inclusion criteria	Exclusion criteria
Permanent employment	No permanent employment or retirement within the time span of the study (2 years)
Male or female, age ≤ 56 years	Age > 56 years
LBPa during last week ≥35 mm with Visual Analogue Scale	LBPa during last week< 35 mm with Visual Analogue Scale
At least one of the following criteria is fulfilled during the last 12 months:	Presence of any of the following conditions: pregnancy, acute nerve root compression symptoms, suspicion of a malignant tumour, recent fracture or severe osteoporosis or any other specific disease that might prevent participation in the follow- up
1. “Sciatica” - LBP that has radiated below the knee level  2. “Prolongation” - LBP that prolonged for two weeks or more  3. “Recurrency” - LBP has recurred two times or more  4. “Work absence” - LBP related sickness absence
