Defined fluorescent imaging parameters and thresholds used to identify and quantify Plasmodium LS parasites using Perkin Elmer Harmony software. Small forms refer to P. vivax hypnozoites (mean ~30 µm2) but with wide size range also represents for P. falciparum day 6 schizonts (mean ~80 µm2). Large forms refer to developing schizonts and are further categorized into 5 distinct groups based upon area and intensity
