Phosphatidic acid (PA) influenced fatty acid metabolism, glycolysis, and energy metabolism. The mRNA expressions of (A) sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (srebp1), fatty acid synthetase (fas), glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (g6pd), (B) cpt1α, acox1, hadh, (C) pk, gk, m-pepck, hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (hif1α), (D) ucp1, cs, idh1, dlst, (E) atp5α, and atp5ε were analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR after PA treatment (n = 6). Results were represented as means with SEs and were analyzed using independent t tests (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001).
