The cell membrane and cytoplasm of MCF-7 cells is stained with CellMask deep red stain excited at 649 nm. Hoechst-33258-treated cells show clear nuclear localisation (blue) whereas conjugate-5-treated cells show nuclear as well as cytoplasmic localisation after 48 h of treatment, as seen in the overlay image.
