Schematic representation of right aortic arch with isolated left subclavian artery. This malformation is the result of involution of the left aortic arch at two levels, both between the left common carotid and left subclavian arteries, and distal to the left ductus arteriosus and left subclavian artery. The left subclavian artery arises from the pulmonary artery via a ductus arteriosus.
