Effect of HBR deletion on DNA synthesis by Pol β. WT and ΔHBR NCPs containing a single-nucleotide gap, located at positions denoted at the top of each panel, were incubated with 100 nm Pol β, a 5-fold molar excess relative to nucleosomal DNA.
