The mean values denoted in the sales data reflect averages of actual items sold. aEnergy estimates for drinks at Site 3 are expressed per 100 ml. bSite 5 does not sell low calorie soft drinks (this site produces soft drinks which are freely available to all staff, including sugar-free and sugar-sweetened varieties). cSite 2 offered only a limited selection of snacks sold under the same till button, hence the median energy value was used to estimate energy content of snacks at this site
