Effect of carnosine on the activity of mitochondrial ETC complexes in cultured HeLa and SiHa cells. The cells were treated with 20 mM carnosine for 48 hours, and then the activity of ETC complex I (A), complex II (B), complex III (C), and complex IV (D) was measured by spectrophotometry.
