(A) shows the regions for bistability on $\left(\kappa ,{\gamma }_1\right)$ plane for three different values of strain 1 area fraction $s_1$. The blue wedge $\left(s_1=0\right)$ that corresponds to $s_1=0$ and $A=0$ is the same as the one for the two-variable model shown in Fig. 1. (B) shows the region of bistability for all values $0<s_1<1$ (blue wedge) and the region where fronts would become stationary at specific values of $s_1$ (red region).
