A) Non-activated and activated γδ T cells were isolated from naïve or immunized B6 mice, respectively [14,18]. CD3+ T cells isolated from immunized TCR-δ-/- mice were cultured with non-activated and activated γδ T cells (1 x 106/mouse). After 5 days, Foxp3 T cell responses were evaluated as Fig 2A. B) Administration to TCR-δ-/- mouse of activated, but not non-activated, γδ T cells inhibited Foxp3 T cell response in vivo. Administration of a small number (1 x 106/mouse) of activated, or non-activated γδ T cells into TCR-δ-/- mouse before immunization. After thirteen days, Foxp3+ T cells were evaluated as Fig 2C.
