Salmonella Typhimurium burden is reduced in HA35-treated mice. Tissues (cecum, spleen, and liver) and MLN isolated from water or HA35-treated Salmonella infected mice were homogenized in PBS, serially diluted, and plated on MacConkey agar containing streptomycin overnight. Colonies were visually counted and normalized to input tissue weight (mg). Statistical significance (p) was determined by one-tailed Student’s t-test. Error = SEM.
