Cell survival of Huh-7 and Huh-Bat cells following SB431542 and TGF-β treatment. Cells (5×105) were seeded onto plates in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum. Cultures were incubated for 72 h with dimethyl sulfoxide (control), 1 µM SB431542, 1 ng/ml TGF-β or 1 µM SB431542 plus 1 ng/ml TGF-β.
