Fig. 3 — Change in calcium absorption with increasing phytate-P intake (PP) at three different levels of exogenous phytase intake (ExPhyt), to illustrate the interaction between PP and ExPhyt identified in the final linear mixed effects regression model for calcium absorption. At higher ExPhyt (: ExPhyt set to its mean+sd from the data set), calcium absorption increases with increasing PP.
