IGF-1R is a direct target of miR-598.

(B, C) Luciferase reporter assay data showed that co-transfecting cells with miR-598 and Wt-IGF-1R-3′-UTR produced a significant decrease in luciferase activity, whereas co-transfection with the Mut-IGF-1R-3′-UTR and miR-598 mimics demonstrated no difference compared with the control group.
