The values of the activation energies (Ea, kcal/mol) and St. Er. were calculated for the transitions from State I to Int1; Int1 to Int2; and Int2 to State III along the pHLIP insertion pathway into the lipid bilayer of liposomes of various lipid compositions by fitting of rates (Fig. S5) with Arrhenius function.
