The dashed vertical lines indicate onsets (greens) and terminations (reds) of motion of the target and reaching hands. Note that the velocity profiles of both hands are similar in all 3 conditions, including the passive condition when the target arm was moved by the experimenter. Also note that the time between onset of target and reaching hand movements varies and that both arms decelerate smoothly to movement terminations that are nearly simultaneous.
