Axial images of a 74-year-old male who had a PET/CT for staging of melanoma with a presumed single metastasis to lung. A focus of uptake in the rectosigmoid junction (SUVmax 9.8) (a) appeared to localize to abnormal soft tissue on the fused (b) and CT-only (c) images.
