PI(4,5)P2 is crucial for DOC2BD218,220N-GFP PM localization. (A) DOC2BD218,220N-GFP relocalizes from the PM to the cytosol following PI(4,5)P2 hydrolysis induced by rapamycin (Rapa) treatment in the presence of the active CF-Inp unit. (B) DOC2BD218,220N-GFP remains on the PM following rapamycin treatment in the presence of the inactive CF-InpD281A variant which leaves PI(4,5)P2 levels unchanged (n >10 for each condition).
