Effects of SC29EK-induced mutations on the conformation of the viral 6-HB structure. The reactivities of 6-HBs formed by C34 and N36 or its mutants with conformation-dependent MAbs NC-1 (A), 17C8 (B), and 2G8 (C) were tested by ELISA. The peptide mixture was used to coat the plate wells at 10 μg/ml, and the final concentration of a tested MAb was 5 μg/ml. Data were derived from three independent experiments and are expressed as means and standard deviations.
