Frozen sections through the aortic sinus of both DMSO-treated control mice and JZL184-treated mice with elevated 2-AG levels were stained using oil red O to visualize atherosclerotic plaques (A, B). Cumulative plaque area was divided by the area of the vessel wall to obtain the relative plaque burden (C). Cumulative plaque areas are depicted in panel D.
