Italic values indicates that, the proportions of patients that received aspirin and probucol were significantly larger in patients with severe atherosclerosis as compared with those in patients with mild atherosclerosis; while the proportions of patients were significantly different among the three groups. As for the hypoglycemic, the proportions of patients that received metformin, thiazolidones and insulin injection were significantly larger as compared with those in patients with mild atherosclerosis
