The effect of aluminium chloride, quercetin, and lipoic acid treatment on acetylcholine esterase activity in the brain of rats. Enzyme activity is expressed as nmoles of substrate hydrolyzed min−1 mg protein−1 in the brain of rats. ∗∗∗Significant as compared to control group of rats (p < 0.001). ∗∗Significant as compared to control group of rats (p < 0.01).
