Effect of ellagic acid and arsenic on hippocampal TNFα levels. TNFα protein level in hippocampal lysate of rat brain were assessed using CBA kit (BD Biosciences). Results are expressed as protein levels of TNFα in pg/ml. Significant differences were expressed as (*p ≤ 0.05) when comparison was done in between arsenic and control groups and (#p ≤ 0.05) when compared with arsenic and ellagic acid pretreatment groups As + EA2 (40 mg/kg) respectively.
