Timeline for subject imaging. At the beginning, the patient remains stationary for the first 2 minutes. Subsequently, subjects perform three breath holds (BH) for about 30 seconds and are given 90 seconds to recover. Data selection for dynamic reconstructions is performed 30 seconds before one of the breath holds for the baseline. Each frame of the breath hold and 30 seconds of recovery time are reconstructed to find the percentage change in oxy- and deoxyhemoglobin from the breath-hold baseline.
