miR-222 expression is highest in the HepG2 cell line. (A) Among 3 human liver cancer cell lines, including HCC-LM3, SMCC7721 and HepG2, the latter had the highest level of miR-222. Therefore, HepG2 cells were used in the subsequent experiments.
