Inhibitory effects of DKK-1 on GlcN-induced cyclin D1 and β-catenin expression. Chondrocytes were treated with 0.2 μg/ml DKK-1, and were incubated with GlcN (200 μg/ml) in the presence or absence of DKK-1. (A) β-catenin and cyclin D1 mRNA expression was detected using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. (B) β-catenin and cyclin D1 protein expression was detected using western blotting.
