Immunhistochemical analysis of Twist1 in rat lungs. Immunostaining with an antibody to Twist1 in (A) lungs of rats kept under normoxic conditions compared with (B) lungs from hypoxic rats (scale bar, 20 μm). Positive staining was indicated by a brown color. The results indicated that Twist1 staining was enhanced in hypoxic lung sections.
