LY294002 suppresses cell viability. (A) Cell proliferation was measured using an MTT assay. LY294002, a PI3K inhibitor, reduced the LIF-stimulated proliferation of marmoset induced pluripotent stem cells. The number of cells in the control group cultured without LY294002 was set as 1.0. ^*P<0.05 and ^***P<0.001 (n=3). (B) LIF increased the protein levels of PI3K(85α), p-AKT and TBX-3, and these effects were eradicated by the PI3K inhibitor (LY294002; 20 µM). GAPDH is shown as a loading control.
