SEM images of the surface morphology of CPC composites. Larger pores 2–3 μm in diameter are visible in the DW samples (a,b). The V125 and V125E8 samples seem denser compared to the DW samples, as they appear to have fewer pores (c–f). V125E8 appeared to have larger crystallites with less sharp edges than DW or V125, and to have a slightly denser surface than V125.
