Changes in regulatory cells in the spleen after regulatory B (Breg) cell pretreatment of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). Splenocytes from RPMI‐1640 and IL‐10‐GFP ⁺ B‐cell transferred wild‐type (WT) recipient mice were harvested 96 hr after MCAO and assessed for expression of FoxP3⁺ CD4⁺ T cells, CD8⁺ CD122⁺ T cells and CD1d^hi CD19⁺ Breg cells. Data are representative of two independent experiments with spleens processed from six RPMI‐pretreated and seven IL‐10⁺ B‐cell‐pretreated mice (mean ± SEM). Significant differences between the groups were determined using Student's t‐test (*P ≤ 0·05, **P ≤ 0·01 and ***P ≤ 0·001).
