Effect of PEITC treatment on MAPK activity in NIH 3T3 wt and NIH 3T3 BRAFV600E cells. A total of 500 000 cells were seeded in six‐well plates in complete growth medium and treated with 20 μm PEITC for 30 min prior to lysis. Immunoblots were carried out with antibodies specific to phosphorylated ERK1/2 (A, B), p38 (A, C), and JNK1/2 (A, D) and the corresponding antibodies for total protein (A–D). Data are presented as mean value ± standard error of the mean (SEM) of nine independent experiments, except for p38 for which only three experiments were carried out. *P < 0.1, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001.
