Pretreatment with DZX alleviates the I/R-induced behavioral deficits in rats in vivo. Rats were treated with DZX with or without 5-HD and subjected to cerebral ischemia for 2 h followed by 12 h of reperfusion. Sham rats were not subjected to cerebral ischemia.
