27-hydroxycholesterol (27-OH) induces autophagy in U937 cells. Protein levels of LC3 I and LC3 II, Beclin 1 and p62 in U937 cells treated with 10 μM 27-OH for 3, 6 and 12 h (A) and for 24, 48 and 72 h (B) were analyzed by Western blotting. Untreated cells were taken as controls. One blot representative of three experiments is shown.
