Tube formation assay. In-vitro tube formation assay using EPC cells was performed in presence of either normoxic or hypoxic exosomes. Compared to untreated EPCs, those treated with either normoxic exosomes or hypoxic exosomes produced a significant increase in the number of (A) junctions and (B) meshes while length of isolated branches was significantly increased with hypoxic exosomes.
