Soluble CD59 Improves Retinal Function in EAU

Both dark-adapted (scotopic) and light-adapted (photopic) responses were analyzed in AAVCAGsCD59 and AAVCAGGFP EAU mouse retinas. For dark-adapted ERG, –20 dB (0.025 cd.s/m2), –10 dB (0.25 cd.s/m2), and 0 dB (2.5 cd.s/m2) flash light intensities were used. For light-adapted ERG, 0 dB (2.5 cd.s/m2) and 1 dB (3.15 cd.s/m2) flash light intensities were used. (A) Representative ERG responses in the AAVCAGsCD59 and AAVCAGGFP EAU groups. (B) Dark- and light-adapted a- and b-wave ERG amplitudes with respect to intensities are shown. ERG responses from C57BL/6J controls are presented in Figure 2. Values are represented as mean ± SEM. *p < 0.05 versus AAVCAGGFP.
