Analysis of ancestral state of phosphosites. a Enrichment analysis of amino acids in the transition to phosphosites in disordered regions for human and mouse. The labs of x-axis were the abbreviation of amino acids. Comparing with control data, three kinds of amino acids (D, E and K) were enriched in the transition to phosphosites in both human and mouse. b The distribution of phosphosites evolved from different amino acids in the median and young groups. In both human and mouse, there were more phosphosites evolving from D/E in the median group than the young group (p-value< 0.01, Chi-squared test). D: Aspartate; E: Glutamate; K: Lysine
