ESCRT-III functions conditionally with PEX19. Doubling times of individual yeast cells growing into colonies on solid-phase YEPD medium with and without 4 µM DOX were measured with ODELAY!. Strains grown in the presence of DOX were precultured for 24 h in the presence of 4 µM DOX to turn off PEX19 and deplete Pex19 levels from cells. A population-derived z score and SEM for each strain are plotted on a phenotypic axis and summarized as a phenotypic inequality defining the genetic interaction between the indicated genes from four biological replicates per strain per growth condition.
