Effect of AuNPs, AuHCl₄, and chitosan on HeLa, MCF-7, and PBMC cell viability.

Notes: HeLa (A), MCF-7 (B), and PBMC (C) were treated with various concentrations of CH-AuNPs and SC-AuNPs (25, 50, 75, 100, and 150 µM). HeLa (D), MCF-7 (E), and PBMC (F) were treated with vehicles (chitosan and HAuCl₄) at same concentrations as in (A–C) for 24 hours. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. The percentages refer to relative cell viability represented as percentage of control (nontreated cell viability=100%).
